Mix Different Track Shapes Along a Single Curve
Understanding Track Transitions
This mod allows you to shift between different track spine configurations (single-spine to double-spine, for example) along the same curve without breaking ride flow or creating visual gaps. This mimics real-world coaster design where manufacturers sometimes blend different structural approaches.
Setting Up Mixed Track Sections
Build your curve using Create: Coasters Simulated as normal. When you reach the point where you want to change track shape, use the track style tool to select a different model variant—for instance, switching from B&M Steel (single spine) to B&M Steel Double Spine on the next anchor.
Maintaining Visual Continuity
Because the mod is designed to handle smooth transitions, the different track shapes will connect naturally without gaps or jarring visual breaks. You can apply matching colors to both sections to enhance the seamless appearance. This technique is useful for creating dynamic-looking coasters that feel more like real installations, where track geometry adapts to the ride's layout demands.
