Canvas Skybolt FAQ

Refer to your mod's crafting recipes in the inventory or JEI/NEI. Once crafted, place the plane on flat ground and right-click to enter the cockpit.

You need to reach take-off speed by holding W to accelerate forward. Make sure you're on flat, open ground with enough runway space, and check that your throttle is active in the cockpit HUD.

Move your mouse to control pitch (up/down) and roll (left/right), or press A and D to use the rudder for turning. Control surfaces respond faster the higher your forward air speed.

Climbing (pitching upward) slows your aircraft down, while pitching downward builds up speed. Manage your altitude carefully to maintain enough airspeed for controlled flight.

Press V to switch to armed combat mode, then use Left Click to fire the twin machine guns from the nose. Ammunition is unlimited, so you can fire continuously.

Yes—press B to drop a primed TNT bomb from mid-air. Make sure you're in armed combat mode (press V) and aim carefully at ground targets below.

Reduce your speed by pitching upward or cutting throttle, then aim for flat ground or a runway. Hold S while on the ground to apply wheel brakes and come to a stop.

Equip a paraglider backpack to glide down safely during free falls or emergency descents. It lets you control your descent and land without taking damage.

Use a squadron horn to recruit villager pilots, who will then fly in a V-formation behind your aircraft. They follow your lead during flight.

Runway structures generate naturally across the world and contain loot chests. Explore your world to locate them, or use them as takeoff points for your flights.
