BoxLib provides a shared config GUI handler that many mods built on top of it use to expose their settings. Instead of digging through config files, you can usually open a mod's options directly from the in-game menu.
Opening the Config Screen
1. Open the Mods list from the main menu or the pause menu.
2. Find the mod whose settings you want to change. Mods that rely on BoxLib's config GUI handler will show a Config button next to their entry.
3. Click Config to open the generated screen. BoxLib builds this screen from the mod's registered config values, so the layout is consistent across every mod that uses it.
4. Adjust sliders, toggles, and text fields as needed. Changes are applied through the mod's config loader/saver, so they persist to disk when you save.
If No Config Button Appears
Some mods register their config screen through a keybind or a command instead of the Mods list. Check the mod's own documentation for the exact entry point. If a mod has no config at all, BoxLib simply has nothing to render for it.
Tips
- Not every mod uses BoxLib's handler, even if it depends on BoxLib for other utilities.
- If a setting requires a restart, the screen will typically note it; otherwise changes take effect immediately.
