Gather Materials
Bone torches require bones and coal. Bones drop from skeletons when killed, and coal can be mined from coal ore or obtained by smelting wood. You'll need at least one bone and one coal to start.
Craft at a Crafting Table
Open your crafting table and place one bone in any slot. Add any type of coal (regular coal or charcoal both work) to an adjacent slot. This combination yields four bone torches.
The exact arrangement doesn't matter—the mod recognizes the ingredients regardless of their position in the grid.
Place Your Torches
Bone torches function identically to regular torches: they emit light, can be placed on blocks and walls, and prevent mob spawning in their radius. Use them to light caves, pathways, or buildings for a skeletal aesthetic.
Gather More Bones
Since skeletons only drop one or two bones per kill, consider setting up a skeleton farm or exploring dungeons and nether fortresses where bones are more abundant. This ensures a steady supply for crafting multiple torch batches.
