Setting a Goal With the goto Command
Baritone's core travel command is #goto, typed into the chat box (the # prefix is the default command prefix). To walk to a coordinate, type #goto X Y Z using the numbers from your F3 debug screen or a waypoint. If you only care about horizontal position, you can give just X and Z — Baritone will pick a sensible Y on its own. For example, #goto 500 64 -1200 sends it toward that exact spot.
Press Enter and Baritone immediately starts calculating a path and moving your character. You do not need to hold any keys; the mod controls movement for you. If you want to stop at any time, type #stop or press the cancel keybind.
Useful Variations
#gotofollowed by a player name walks toward that player.#goalsets a goal without starting movement, useful for chaining commands.#pathshows the calculated path so you can preview it before committing.
Tips for Long Trips
Baritone splices paths into segments and precalculates the next segment as the current one finishes, so it keeps moving smoothly over long distances. Give it a clear goal and let it run. If it gets stuck on terrain, try #reset to clear the current path, then reissue #goto. Keep an eye on hunger and fall damage — Baritone paths through terrain but does not manage your survival for you.
