What the Addon Adds

The BackSlot Addon extends the types of items you can place in your back and belt slots beyond basic tools and weapons.

Additional Items Supported

With the addon installed, you can now equip:

• Shields – Place on either slot for quick access during combat
• Lanterns – Equip on your back or belt for portable light sources

Installation

The addon works alongside the base BackSlot Mod. Install it using the same method as the main mod (Fabric/Quilt loader).

Using Expanded Items

Once installed, simply use the same keybinds (G for back slot, Shift + G for belt slot) to equip shields and lanterns. They'll appear on your character model just like tools and weapons do.

This is particularly useful for survival gameplay where you might need to switch between a shield for defense and a tool for gathering, or carry a lantern without taking up inventory space.
