Apply Halos to Multiple Entities at Once

Using Entity Selectors

The /halo show command accepts Minecraft's standard entity selectors, allowing you to equip many entities with halos simultaneously.

Common Selection Patterns

  • @a — all players in the world
  • @e[type=armor_stand] — every armor stand
  • @e[type=zombie,distance=..20] — all zombies within 20 blocks
  • @e[nbt={CustomName:'{"text":"Boss"}'}] — entities with a specific custom name
  • @p — the nearest player to you

Executing the Command

Type /halo show @e[type=villager] ring_default to give all villagers the default ring halo. Use /halo hide @e[type=armor_stand] to remove halos from every armor stand at once. Combine selectors with distance, type, and NBT filters to target exactly the entities you want to customize.
