Maximize Energy Efficiency with Overclock and Parallel Cards Together
Understand Card Interactions
Parallel Cards and Overclock Cards serve different purposes: Parallel Cards multiply processing speed, while Overclock Cards force recipes to complete in a single tick (when power and materials allow). Using both together creates powerful synergy but demands careful power planning.
Install Both Cards
1. Open your machine's upgrade interface
2. Place your Parallel Card in its slot
3. Place your
Overclock Card in a separate upgrade slot
4. Both cards can coexist and will activate simultaneously
Power Budget Calculation
Combining cards multiplies energy demand. A machine with both x64 parallel processing and single-tick completion will consume far more power per operation than either card alone. Ensure your power generation exceeds peak demand, or add energy buffer upgrades to your machine.
When to Use This Strategy
Reserve dual-card setups for critical bottlenecks—machines processing rare materials or feeding multiple production lines. For routine tasks, a single Parallel Card usually suffices and saves power.
