How to Use Zume Mod Zoom In-Game

Basic Zoom Controls

Once Zume Mod is installed, zooming is handled entirely through keybinds rather than the scroll wheel or a menu toggle. By default, press Z to activate the zoom effect. While zoomed in, the game reduces your field of view, which magnifies whatever is near your crosshair — useful for spotting distant mobs, reading signs, or scouting terrain.

To fine-tune the zoom level while it is active:

1. Hold or press Z to enter the zoomed state.

2. Press = to zoom in further (narrower FOV, more magnification).

3. Press - to zoom out (wider FOV, less magnification).

4. Release or press Z again to return to your normal view.

Practical Tips

• Zoom works best when your crosshair is already pointed at the target, since the effect centers on screen space near the crosshair.
• Use zoom while standing still for the steadiest view; movement still applies normally, so you can walk while zoomed if needed.
• If the default keys conflict with another mod, you can change them (see the keybind guide).
