How to Change Zume Mod Zoom Keybinds

Opening the Controls Menu

If Z, -, or = clash with another mod or feel awkward, Zume Mod lets you rebind all of its zoom keys. The keybinds are configurable, so you are not stuck with the defaults.

1. Open the game's Options menu.

2. Go to Controls (sometimes labeled Key Binds).

3. Scroll or search for the Zume Mod category.

4. Find the entries for zoom, zoom-in, and zoom-out.

5. Click each entry and press the key you want to assign.

6. If a key is already in use, the game will warn you — pick a different one or clear the conflicting bind.

7. Save and return to the game.

Choosing Good Keys

• Pick keys your left hand can reach while your right hand stays on the mouse, so you can zoom without losing aim.
• Avoid keys already used for sprinting, sneaking, or inventory, since those are pressed constantly.
• Keep zoom-in and zoom-out on adjacent keys so you can adjust magnification smoothly mid-zoom.

After rebinding, test the new keys in a safe area before relying on them in combat or while building.
