The Death Mechanic

When you die in You're in Grave Danger, instead of items scattering randomly on the ground, a grave spawns at your exact death location. All items from your inventory are stored inside this grave, preserving their exact arrangement.

Item Recovery and Experience

Unlike vanilla Minecraft, your items don't despawn after five minutes—they remain safely stored in the grave indefinitely. Experience points follow the mod's configuration settings, which may differ from vanilla behavior depending on your server or world settings.

Multiplayer Graves

In multiplayer worlds, each player's grave displays their name and player head on the gravestone. This prevents confusion when multiple players have died in the same area. Each grave is independent and only the deceased player (or those with permission) can access it.
