Understand How Water and Weather Affect Your Builds
Watch Materials React to Moisture
Yitality adds dynamic material responses to water and rain. When it rains or near water sources:
- Wood blocks darken noticeably, simulating moisture absorption
Stone and metal surfaces develop small visible puddles and water droplets- Wet materials may show different color tones
This effect is automatic and depends on proximity to water and weather conditions.
Design for Water Effects
To make these features visible:
- Build structures partially exposed to rain or next to water bodies
- Use wood in areas where rain will fall to see the darkening effect clearly
- Place stone pathways near water features to showcase puddle formation
- Combine wet-reactive blocks with polished materials to see contrast
Test Different Conditions
Visit your builds during rain and in clear weather to observe the full range of material reactions. The effects are most dramatic during storms and immediately after rainfall. Covered structures won't show rain effects, so leave some surfaces exposed if you want to showcase this feature.
