Set Up Hold vs. Toggle Eating Controls

Open Control Settings

Pause the game and go to Options → Controls. Find the mod's settings panel to adjust input behavior.

Understand Hold and Toggle Modes

• Hold Mode: You must keep the use key pressed down while eating. Releasing stops the action immediately
• Toggle Mode: Press the use key once to start eating, then press it again to stop. Your character continues eating with a single keypress

Choose Your Preference

Toggle mode is convenient for eating multiple items in succession—press once and your character eats continuously until you press again. Hold mode gives you more direct control and is useful if you want to eat just one bite and stop quickly.

Apply and Verify

Select your preferred input mode and confirm. Test it by eating food in-game to ensure it feels natural for your playstyle. You can switch between modes anytime without restarting.
