Giving Items to Your Allay

Once you have a tamed Allay, right-click it with the item you want it to search for. The Allay will take one of that item as a reference and begin searching for matching items in a 32-block radius around you.

How Collection Works

The Allay flies around and picks up items that match what you gave it. It can hold up to a full stack. Once it has collected a full stack, it returns to you and drops the items off. It will then continue searching if it still has the reference item. Allays cannot search for or hold items that have a max stack size of 1, such as tools, armor, or potions.

Practical Tips

• Give your Allay a common item like cobblestone or seeds to clear your mining area or farm.
• Allays glow in the dark, so you can track them easily underground.
• If you want to stop the Allay from searching, right-click it with an empty hand or give it a different item.
• Allays regenerate health quickly, so they are unlikely to die from minor damage.
