How to Dye Your Allay in YDM's Allay Mod

Dyeing Basics

YDM's Allay Mod allows you to dye your Allay any color, similar to dyeing sheep or collars on wolves. To dye an Allay, you need dye in your hand and the Allay nearby.

Step-by-Step

1. Craft or obtain dye in the color you want.

2. Hold the dye in your main hand.

3. Right-click the Allay with the dye.

4. The Allay's color will change to match the dye.

You can re-dye an Allay at any time by repeating the process with a different color. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the Allay's behavior or abilities.

Tips

Dyeing works on both tamed and untamed Allays. If you have multiple Allays, dye them different colors to tell them apart. This is especially useful when you have several Allays collecting different items. The dye color persists until you change it again.
