How to Fix Xray Ultimate Not Showing Ores

Check Pack Order and Conflicts

If ores are not highlighted, the most common cause is another resource pack sitting above Xray Ultimate. Open Options > Resource Packs and drag Xray Ultimate to the very top. Any pack that retextures stone, deepslate, or ores will cancel the effect if it loads first. Remove or disable those packs while using Xray Ultimate.

Adjust Video Settings

Several settings can mask the transparency:

• Smooth Lighting must be off. When on, it blends light across transparent blocks and hides ores.
• Graphics should be Fast, not Fancy.
• If you use Optifine, make sure Connected Textures and Natural Textures are not overriding the pack's block models.
• Turn off any shader pack. Shaders replace block rendering entirely and will break the see-through effect.

Verify the Environment

Xray Ultimate only works where the client controls textures. On many multiplayer servers the pack is blocked or the server sends its own pack that overrides yours. Test in a fresh singleplayer world to confirm the pack itself works. If it does, the problem is server-side. Also confirm the pack version matches your game version, since a mismatched pack may load without applying its textures.
