Finding Diamonds Efficiently with Xray

Locate the Right Depth

Diamonds spawn most frequently in the lower levels of the Overworld. Head down to Y-level 16 or below, where the pack's transparency will be most effective. The deeper you go, the better your chances.

Scan Systematically

With stone and deepslate now transparent, walk slowly through caves or mine horizontally at your target depth. Keep your render distance high enough to spot ore veins from a distance. Look for the solid blue-white sparkle of diamond ore against the clear background—it will stand out immediately.

Mark and Mine

When you spot a diamond vein, mark its location with torches or waypoints so you don't lose it. Approach carefully and mine with an iron pickaxe or better. The transparency makes it easy to see the full extent of a vein before you start harvesting.

Avoid Hazards

Remember that lava and water remain visible, so you can still spot dangerous liquid pools. Mobs will also be clearly visible, so stay alert even with the enhanced vision.
