Before attempting a breakthrough, gather protective equipment. Higher cultivation realms grant increased survivability, so ensure you've reached a good power level. Stock healing items and consider building a shelter to limit where lightning can strike.

Gather Resources

Collect spirit stones and meditate to maximize your spiritual energy before the tribulation. Higher energy reserves mean you're stronger when the lightning strikes begin. Don't attempt a breakthrough when low on resources.

Choose Your Location Wisely

Trigger your breakthrough in a safe area away from cliffs, water, or your base. Lightning strikes can destroy blocks and cause environmental damage. An open, flat area gives you the best chance to survive and recover.

Survive and Advance

Once tribulation begins, avoid standing in one spot. The lightning strikes are survivable at higher realms, but lower realms require careful positioning. After surviving all strikes, you'll successfully advance and gain new power and abilities.
