How Prestige Works

Prestige is the core currency of faction survival. You earn prestige points by remaining active on the server—simply logging in and playing generates points over time. These points fund your city claims, maintain forcefields, and support other faction operations.

Spending Prestige Wisely

Every claimed city costs prestige to maintain. The larger your territory, the more prestige you need each cycle. Plan your expansion carefully: claiming too much land too quickly will drain your reserves and leave you vulnerable to losing claims. Prioritize strategic locations over maximum territory.

Prestige Decay and Upkeep

Prestige automatically decreases as you maintain your claims. If your faction runs out of prestige, you'll begin losing control of your cities. Encourage faction members to log in regularly—collective activity generates more prestige than solo play.

Balancing Growth and Defense

Allocate prestige between land claims and defensive structures. A well-defended small territory is better than an overextended empire you can't protect. Monitor your prestige balance regularly and adjust your faction's expansion strategy accordingly.
