Activate and Control the Radiation System

Enabling Radiation in Your World

By default, radiation may not be active. Use /radon to turn on the radiation system and begin the survival challenge. Check the current status anytime with /radstatus to confirm radiation is running.

Managing Radiation Intensity

1. Use /radtimer to start a 10-day countdown before radiation becomes active—useful for preparation

2. Use /radoff to disable radiation temporarily if you need to build or explore safely

3. Use /nuclear to test the Nuclear Winter mode, which intensifies the radiation challenge

4. Use /nuclearoff to exit Nuclear Winter mode

Strategic Activation

Consider activating the timer instead of immediate radiation. This gives you time to gather resources, craft gas masks and filters, and establish an underground base before the deadly surface becomes truly dangerous. Once you're prepared, let the timer expire or use /radon directly to begin the challenge.
