Craft a Gas Mask

Create a gas mask on the Sewing Table using the appropriate materials. Once equipped, the mask provides a slot for filter modules that can be customized with brewed effects.

Prepare Filter Effects

Filters are crafted by combining milk and brewed potions. The specific potion you use determines what negative effects the filter will block when worn. For example, a filter brewed with certain potions will protect you from specific status effects like poison or nausea.

Equip and Activate Protection

Insert your prepared filter into the gas mask's attachment slot using the scroll wheel and right-click method. While wearing the mask with an active filter, you'll be protected from the corresponding negative potion effects. You can swap filters between different masks or replace them as needed. This is particularly useful when exploring dangerous biomes or fighting enemies that inflict debuffs.
