Open Your Bird Guide

Press E while holding your bird guide to open it. This in-game book keeps a complete log of every bird species you've encountered and studied.

Customize the Layout

The guide interface lets you adjust the book layout to suit your preferences. Organize entries by biome, species name, or traits you've observed. This makes it easier to reference information during your exploration.

Record New Sightings

When you spot a new bird species, the guide automatically logs it. Each entry includes details about the bird's unique traits: gender, size, feather color, and growth state. Over time, your guide becomes a personal field journal of the mod's biodiversity.

Plan Your Exploration

Use the guide to identify which biomes host which species. If you're searching for a specific bird—like Night Herons in swamps or Budgerigars in tropical areas—consult your guide to plan efficient exploration routes.

Track Tamed Birds

Your guide also tracks all birds you've tamed as companions, showing their individual characteristics and breeding history if applicable.
