Biome Selection

Overworld land creatures spawn across forests, grasslands, and cold biomes. Beavers, Capybaras, Chameleons, and Kiwi Birds each prefer specific environments. Visit diverse biomes to encounter the full roster.

Where to Look

Forests and wooded areas host Beavers and Chameleons. Grasslands and savannas are home to Capybaras. Cold biomes like snowy forests and tundras spawn Emperor Penguins and Kiwi Birds. Flying creatures like Butterflies and Dragonflies appear across multiple biome types during the day.

Observation Tips

These creatures are passive and won't flee aggressively, but some may wander. Move slowly to avoid startling them. Chameleons may be harder to spot due to their camouflage—look carefully in forest undergrowth. Visit during daytime for the best chance of seeing flying insects. If you're using world-generation mods like Biomes O' Plenty or Terralith, creatures spawn naturally in their custom biomes too, giving you even more locations to explore.
