Finding and Observing Aquatic Creatures

Locating Water Biomes

Aquatic mobs in Wildfold Chronicle spawn in oceans, rivers, and warm water biomes. Head to any ocean or river biome and look for movement in the water. Warm ocean biomes are particularly rich with variety.

What to Expect

You'll encounter several swimming creatures depending on your biome:

  • Koi swim in rivers and smaller water bodies
  • Seahorses prefer warm, shallow ocean waters
  • Jellyfish drift in deeper oceans
  • Manta Rays glide through deep ocean biomes

Tips for Observation

Bring a boat to move smoothly through water without disturbing creatures. Use night vision potions or swim underwater to get closer views. Most aquatic mobs are passive and won't attack, making them ideal for photography or peaceful observation. If you're in a custom biome from Biomes O' Plenty or Terralith, check the water features—these mods' unique water bodies often host the mod's creatures naturally.

For the best experience, visit during daytime when visibility is highest and creatures are most active.
