Encountering End Dimension Creatures

Accessing the End

Echofins are the End's exclusive Wildfold creature. Prepare for the End dimension as you normally would—gather beds, weapons, and blocks for building. Defeat the Ender Dragon or use creative mode to explore safely.

Finding Echofins

Echofins float in the void near outer islands. After defeating the dragon or accessing the outer End, travel away from the main island toward the smaller floating islands scattered throughout the dimension. Echofins spawn in these outer regions, drifting through the air like jellyfish through water.

Exploration Strategy

Bring blocks to build bridges or platforms between islands—this makes navigation safer and gives you better vantage points to spot Echofins. They're passive creatures, so you can observe them without threat. The outer End islands are visually distinct with their own terrain features, making exploration rewarding beyond just creature-spotting. Consider bringing a spyglass to scan distant islands before committing to travel.
