Finding Resources and Mobs

Wilder Roots adds new passive creatures and materials throughout the overworld. Look for ducks waddling across plains and swimming in shallow water, butterflies fluttering above flowers in open areas, and Earth Cows grazing in herds. Swamp biomes are home to rare dyed cats with unique colorations.

Underground, you'll discover ruby ore blocks scattered in the stone. Mine these to collect rubies for crafting protective armor. Above ground, gather wild crops from grassy biomes to farm, and collect wild flowers to place into standard flower pots as decoration.

All new blocks, mobs, and items maintain vanilla Minecraft's art style, so everything blends seamlessly with your world.
