Building a Realistic Zoo Enclosure
Plan Your Habitat by Biome
Wild Planet Mod animals spawn and behave best in environments matching their real-world habitats. Before placing mobs, decide which biome type your enclosure will represent—tropical, temperate, wetland, or forest. This determines which animal species will thrive there and look natural.
Construct the Enclosure Structure
Build walls, fencing, or barriers appropriate to your chosen biome. Use the included wild plants and fungi to decorate the landscape authentically. Layer different plant species throughout the space to create visual depth and natural-looking vegetation zones.
Place Animals Using Spawn Eggs
Open Creative Mode inventory and locate the spawn eggs for your selected animals. Right-click on the ground within the enclosure to place each mob. Start with larger or more dominant species first, then add smaller creatures to avoid overcrowding.
Add Environmental Details
Incorporate water features for aquatic or semi-aquatic species. Use terrain variation—hills, valleys, and clearings—to give animals space to roam naturally. Add the mod's fungi and plant blocks to match the biome's vegetation patterns, making the enclosure feel lived-in and authentic.
