The mod features a genetic inheritance system where offspring inherit traits from their parents. Five key traits can be passed down: speed, weight, hunger resistance, and others. By selectively breeding animals with desirable traits, you can create superior specimens.

Inspecting Genetic Stats

1. Craft or obtain a Gene Analyzer

2. Right-click a mature animal with the analyzer

3. The interface displays that animal's genetic values for each inheritable trait

4. Note which animals have the highest stats in traits you want to improve

Selective Breeding Strategy

1. Identify two parent animals with strong stats in your desired trait

2. Ensure both are in the same enclosure with ecological score above 60

3. Allow them to breed naturally

4. Use the Gene Analyzer on offspring to check inherited traits

5. Keep offspring that show improvement; remove those with weaker stats

6. Repeat over multiple generations to strengthen the trait
