Getting Your Powder Snow Bucket Back After Using It in a Recipe

The Powder Snow Bucket Problem

The Powder Snow Bucket is one of the newer bucket types that was affected by the old vanilla bug. Before this mod, using a Powder Snow Bucket as a crafting ingredient would consume the bucket entirely — you would not get an empty Bucket back. This made Powder Snow Buckets expensive to use in recipes.

Steps to Recover Your Bucket

1. Make sure What The Bucket Mod is installed. On a server, the server must have it for the fix to apply to everyone.

2. Obtain a Powder Snow Bucket by using an empty Bucket on powder snow.

3. Use the Powder Snow Bucket in whatever crafting recipe requires it.

4. Complete the craft and collect your result.

5. Confirm that an empty Bucket has been returned to you.

What Changed

With the mod active, the Powder Snow Bucket now behaves like a water bucket in crafting: it converts into an empty Bucket instead of vanishing. This means you can reuse the empty Bucket to collect more powder snow, snow, water, or any other bucketable fluid.

If It Still Disappears

Double-check that the mod is loaded on the correct side (server for multiplayer). If you are playing singleplayer, verify the mod is in your mods folder and enabled. No in-game toggle exists — the fix is always on once the mod loads.
