How to Read Player Activity at a Glance on a Multiplayer Server
Combine the Three Cues
This mod gives you three separate signals, and reading them together tells you a lot. First, the typing animation shows someone composing chat. Second, the hand movement on a virtual screen shows someone using a menu, inventory, chest, or crafting table. Third, the sleeping pose plus the "Zz" symbol in the tab list shows someone idle for more than five minutes. Glance at a player's model and then at the tab list to build a quick picture of what they are doing.
A Practical Routine
When you join a server, open the tab list and note who has the "Zz" marker — those players are away. Then look around at nearby characters. If you see hand movement at a chest, that container is in use. This routine takes only a few seconds and saves you from talking over people or crowding shared storage.
Respect the Limits
The mod shows activity, not contents. You never see what is inside another player's inventory or container, and the animations do not reveal what someone is typing or crafting. Use the cues to coordinate, not to spy. Because it supports modded containers, the same hand-motion signal applies to custom blocks from other mods, so the routine works on heavily modded packs too.
