Managing Cargo and Using the Ship's Inventory

Accessing Your Ship's Storage

Your tamed Hullback has an inventory system perfect for long ocean voyages. While actively riding your ship and steering from the Helm, press your inventory key to open the creature's cargo hold. This opens a dedicated storage interface separate from your personal inventory.

Storing Items Safely

Use this space to store valuable items, supplies, and loot you collect during your adventures. The inventory persists even when you dismount, so your cargo remains safe on the ship. This is especially useful for storing gunpowder, building materials, and treasure you find in sunken ships.

Organizing Your Voyage

Before setting sail on long journeys, stock your ship's inventory with essentials: extra planks for repairs, gunpowder for cannons, food for sustenance, and any special items you might need. Keep your personal inventory lighter so you have room to collect new loot without constantly returning to base.

Capacity Limits

The ship's inventory has finite space, so plan accordingly. Prioritize what you bring based on your voyage's expected duration and purpose.
