Install a Tornado Siren and Emergency Radio System

Placing the Siren

Place a tornado siren block on top of your base or on a tall tower where sound carries far. The siren will automatically activate when severe weather—particularly tornadoes—is detected nearby. Position it where you can hear it from inside your shelter.

Setting Up Emergency Radios

Craft emergency radio blocks and place them in your base, near your bed, and in other shelters. These devices receive alerts from your radar network and sirens, giving you multiple warning channels. Radios provide audio and visual alerts when danger approaches.

Configuring Alert Range

Your siren and radios have an effective warning range. Position them strategically so alerts reach all your important locations. Multiple sirens in different areas ensure you won't miss warnings if you're far from your main base.

Responding to Alerts

When your siren sounds or radio alerts activate, immediately move to your reinforced shelter. Gather any nearby players or animals. Check your radar tablet to monitor the storm's exact position and when it's safe to emerge.
