Craft Your First WWII Fighter Plane

Gather Materials

WWII fighter planes require significant late-game resources. You'll need metal ingots (iron and/or other metals depending on the aircraft), wool blocks for paint schemes, and various crafted components. Start by collecting these materials in bulk—a single plane demands far more than basic tools.

Use the Crafting Recipe

Open your crafting menu and locate the plane recipe for your chosen aircraft. The mod provides recipes for all 23 historical models across US, Japanese, German, Soviet, UK, and Italian factions. Select your desired paint job during crafting—the recipe will specify which wool color blocks to use instead of dyes.

Complete the Craft

Arrange all materials according to the recipe layout and craft your plane. Once complete, the aircraft will appear as a placeable entity in your inventory. Find a flat, open area (like a runway or airfield) and place it in the world.

First Flight

Right-click the plane to enter as pilot. Use standard movement controls to taxi, accelerate, and take off. Your landing gear will retract automatically as you reach higher engine power.
