Create a Custom Biome Title for a Modded Biome
Set Up Your Resource Pack
Custom biome titles are added through standard Minecraft resource packs, so you don't need to code. Create or edit a resource pack folder in your .minecraft/resourcepacks/ directory.
Add the Title Texture
Navigate to assets/wanderingtraveler/textures/biome_titles/ within your resource pack (create folders if they don't exist). Place a PNG image file here named after the biome's registry name. For example, a custom biome called mymod:crystal_cavern would use the filename mymod_crystal_cavern.png.
Design your artwork using blocks and textures that match the biome's visual theme, similar to how vanilla biome titles use sculk for the Deep Dark or cherry blossoms for Cherry Groves.
Enable and Test
Enable your resource pack in the resource pack menu. Enter the modded biome in-game—the mod will automatically detect your custom texture and display it when you cross the biome boundary. If the title doesn't appear, verify the filename matches the exact registry name and the PNG is in the correct folder path.
