Crawlers are dangerous enemies that plant infected blocks across the landscape. When undead monsters step on these corrupted blocks, they receive a significant strength boost, making them far more lethal. Left unchecked, infected areas become increasingly dangerous.

Removing Infected Blocks

To reclaim corrupted terrain, you need Treant Essence Dirt—a special material designed to reverse the infection. Place this block over any infected block to convert it back into normal dirt. This process is straightforward but requires you to gather enough Treant Essence Dirt beforehand.

Preventing Future Corruption

Regularly patrol areas where Crawlers spawn and clean up infected blocks before undead mobs can use them. This is especially important near your base or frequently-traveled routes. The more proactive you are about cleanup, the safer your world becomes. Consider establishing a perimeter around important structures and keeping it clear of infection.
