Transfer Rotational Power Between a Moving Ship and a Stationary Structure

Choose Your Connector Type

Use Chain Connectors for manual linking with a wrench, or Magnet Chain Connectors for automatic connection. Place one on your moving ship and one on the stationary structure, aligned so they face each other.

Connect Rotating Shafts

Attach Create shafts to both connectors. The rotational force will transfer across the link, allowing you to power machinery on either side. Magnet connectors snap together automatically when close; manual connectors require a wrench to link.

Maintain Consistent RPM

Rotational power flows through the connection as long as both shafts are engaged. If your source shaft slows down or stops, power on the receiving end will drop proportionally.

Disconnect When Needed

For Magnet Chain Connectors, send a redstone signal to break the link instantly. For manual Chain Connectors, use a wrench to disconnect. This is useful when docking and undocking ships without losing your mechanical setup.
