How to Craft and Use Astral Gear in Voidscape

Gathering Astral Materials

Astral gear sits above Anti-Rock in the progression. To craft it you need Astral Crystal, Astral Shards, and Astral Essence, which come from processing Astral Rock and Cracked Astral Rock found deeper in the dimension. You will also need Astral Rock blocks as a crafting base.

Crafting the Set

The Astral set includes a full armor set (Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots), tools (Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, Sword), and ranged options (Bow, Crossbow). Craft them at a standard crafting table using the Astral materials you have gathered. Each piece follows the usual armor/tool recipe shapes.

Why Astral Matters

Astral gear is your mid-tier stepping stone. It offers better protection and mining capability than Anti-Rock, letting you survive the more dangerous regions where Corrupt materials spawn. The Astral Bow and Crossbow give you ranged options against the void's hostile mobs, which is important because many of them punish melee approaches.

Tips

• Craft the pickaxe first — you need it to mine the blocks that lead to Corrupt tier.
• Keep spare Astral Shards; they are used in multiple recipes.
• Astral Essence is often the bottleneck, so farm it deliberately rather than incidentally.
