Stop Severe Bleeding Before You Bleed Out
Identify Active Hemorrhage
Press H to open your body status panel. Look for red indicators on specific body parts—these show active bleeding wounds. The panel will display bleeding severity and how much time you have before blood loss becomes critical.
Apply Immediate Treatment
Craft or locate bandages and medical wrapping from your supplies. Apply these directly to the bleeding wound by selecting the injured body part in your status panel and using the
bandage item. For heavy arterial bleeding, you may need multiple applications or upgraded medical materials.
Stabilize and Monitor
After bandaging, keep your status panel open and watch the bleeding indicator. If it continues to worsen, the wound may be too deep for basic bandages—you'll need surgical intervention or specialized hemostatic items.
Get Help if Needed
If you're alone and bleeding heavily, ask a nearby teammate to apply bandages or perform emergency treatment. Their steadier hands during your pain state will work more effectively than your own shaking hands. Sit
still and let them work—moving around worsens bleeding.
