Why Use a Visual Workbench?

The Visual Workbench is functionally identical to a regular crafting table in terms of recipes and output. The only difference is presentation.

Key Differences

Visual Workbench:

• Items placed in crafting slots appear as 3D models on the block surface
• Provides visual feedback about what recipe you're working on
• Useful for decorative or showcase builds
• Helps you see at a glance what's being crafted from a distance

Regular Crafting Table:

• Items only visible inside the GUI window
• No visual indication from outside the interface
• Functionally identical recipes and results

When to Use It

Choose a Visual Workbench when you want your crafting area to look more detailed and interesting, or when you're building a themed workshop where you want to display active crafting. For pure functionality, both blocks are equivalent.
