Give Orders to Villagers and Manage Their Behavior

Making Villagers Follow You

Use the dialogue screen (press R) to give direct orders to villagers. You can command them to follow you as you travel, making it easy to bring your favorite characters on adventures or move them to new locations.

Setting a Home Location

Tell a villager to stay in one spot or set a new home. This is useful for organizing your village or keeping specific villagers near their workstations. Once assigned, they'll return to that location when not following you.

Managing Their Inventory

Access a villager's inventory through the dialogue system. You can give them custom equipment to hold and carry, including tools, weapons, or armor. This lets you equip villagers for specific tasks or protect them during dangerous situations.

Keeping Them Safe

Equipping villagers with armor and weapons makes them more resilient. You can also prevent them from wandering into danger by keeping them stationed at home. Use these commands strategically to protect your villagers and keep your community organized.
