Approach any villager and press R to open the dialogue screen. This is your main tool for getting to know them. Each villager has their own personality, which you'll discover through dialogue options.

Increasing Your Relationship Level

Regularly talk to villagers using the dialogue screen to build familiarity. The more you interact, the stronger your bond becomes. Pay attention to their personality type—different villagers respond to different conversation styles.

Giving Gifts

Once you've started building rapport, give gifts to villagers. They'll appreciate thoughtful presents, and receiving gifts significantly boosts your relationship level. Gifts show you care and speed up the process of becoming close friends or romantic partners.

Consistency Matters

Visit your favorite villagers regularly. Repeated interaction and gift-giving over time will gradually increase their affection toward you. The relationship system rewards dedication—keep showing up and engaging with dialogue to deepen your bonds.

As your relationship grows, new dialogue options and interactions will unlock, eventually leading to dating and marriage possibilities if you choose to pursue them.
