Finding and Claiming Land

Villages in this mod spawn naturally in your world, but you can also establish your own. Explore your world to find a good location—flat terrain with access to resources works best. Once you've found a spot, use the map interface to claim chunks or areas by spending emeralds. This prevents other factions from building there and marks the land as yours.

Setting Up Your First Structures

After claiming land, the village will begin construction automatically. You don't need to build anything yourself—the villagers will expand their territory and construct new buildings over time. However, you can speed up development by ensuring you have enough resources nearby. The village will manage soldier recruitment and civilian job assignments on its own, so focus on protecting the area from threats while it grows.

Monitoring Growth

Check back periodically to see how your village develops. Use the faction management menu to view your settlement's status, soldier count, and resource balance. The villagers will react to nearby dangers and defend themselves, so your main job is to ensure the area stays relatively safe during early expansion phases.
