Understanding Soldier Management

Your village automatically recruits and manages its own soldiers without your input. The settlement balances resources between civilian workers and fighters based on threats and available supplies. You can view current soldier counts and faction status through the faction management menu.

Responding to Threats

When danger approaches—hostile mobs, raids, or rival factions—your villagers will organize a defense automatically. Armored soldiers will engage threats while civilians take shelter. You can support this by eliminating threats from a distance or creating defensive structures like walls around your village perimeter.

Optimizing Defense

Ensure your village has adequate space to expand, as larger settlements can recruit more soldiers. Keep the area well-lit to reduce hostile mob spawns. Monitor the faction management menu to track soldier morale and readiness. If your village is under constant pressure, consider claiming additional chunks to give it room to grow stronger.
