How to Craft a Village Bell

Gather the Ingredients

To craft a bell you need three ingredient types: four Stone blocks, three Logs of any wood type, and one Gold Block. The Stone can be any stone variant that counts as stone in the recipe, and the Logs can be any wood species — oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, or any modded log that registers as a log. The Gold Block is the expensive part: it takes nine Gold Ingots to make one, so plan your mining accordingly.

Craft It at a Crafting Table

Open a standard crafting table and arrange the ingredients in the shape the recipe expects. Because the recipe uses four Stone, three Logs, and one Gold Block, you will fill most of the grid. If the bell does not appear in the output slot, double-check that you are using actual Logs (not Planks) and a full Gold Block (not Ingots). Once the bell shows in the result slot, drag it into your inventory.

Place and Test

Place the crafted bell on a solid block in your village center. Right-click it to ring it — you should hear the bell sound and see nearby villagers react. If nothing happens, make sure you placed it on a valid support block and that you are close enough to interact.
