How to Repair and Service Your Viescraft Airship

Identifying What Needs Fixing

Viescraft machines track two separate wear systems: durability and energy. Durability machines show damage through visual cracks or slowed performance. Energy machines simply stop when the battery empties. Before applying any kit, right-click the machine and check its status. If it uses a Machine Battery, inspect the battery slot first — a dead battery is not a damaged machine.

Choosing the Right Service Kit

Service Kits come in three tiers per type. Small Service Kit restores a little, Large Service Kit restores a moderate amount, and Max Service Kit fully restores the machine. Match the kit to the machine's power type: Energy kits for energy machines, Durability kits for durability machines. Using the wrong kit wastes it. Right-click the machine with the kit to apply the repair. The kit is consumed instantly.

Preventive Maintenance

Carry at least one Large Service Kit on every long journey. For energy machines, bring a spare charged Machine Battery instead — swapping batteries is faster than applying multiple kits mid-flight. The Dismounter lets you pick up a machine and carry it home for a full service at your workbench. Never leave a damaged machine deployed in a dangerous area; mobs or environmental damage can destroy it while you are away.
