How to Customize Airship Appearance with Detailing Kits
Detailing Kit Variants
Detailing Kits come in four styles: Cloth, Frame, Metal, and Panel. Each changes the visual texture of your machine without altering its stats or function. Cloth gives a soft, fabric look. Frame exposes structural elements. Metal adds a polished industrial finish. Panel creates a smooth, armored appearance. You can mix styles on different parts of the same machine if your build allows it.
Applying Detailing Kits
Stand near the machine and right-click with a Detailing Kit in hand. The kit applies to the section you are looking at. Repeat on other sections to customize further. Each application consumes one kit. If you make a mistake, use the
Dismounter to remove the detailing and return the machine to its default look. Detailing Kits do not affect durability, energy, speed, or cargo capacity.
Coordinating with Construction Kits
Construction Kits (Cloth, Metal, Panel) determine the base hull material and are applied during initial building. Detailing Kits are applied afterward for fine-tuning. For a cohesive look, match your Detailing Kit style to your Construction Kit style. The
Detailing Kit (Frame) is unique — it works well as an accent on any base material. Experiment freely; detailing is purely cosmetic and reversible.
