How to Build Your First Airship in Viescraft

Gather the Core Components

Before you can fly, you need a Machine Chassis, an Ignition Key, and at least one Instruction Kit. Craft the Machine Chassis at a Machine Workbench using Machine Parts, which you produce by smelting Machine Pellets. Machine Pellets come from the Machine Parts Mold. Once you have the chassis, decide what kind of vessel you want: Ground, Flying, Sea, or Hauler. Each type requires its matching Instruction Kit, which you craft separately.

Assemble and Activate

Place the Machine Chassis in the world. Right-click it with your chosen Instruction Kit to set the machine type. The chassis will transform into a complete basic machine. Next, right-click with your Ignition Key to start it. If nothing happens, check that the chassis has been fully constructed — incomplete chassis will not respond. For a flying machine, you will also need to add frameworks and construction kits to give it a hull and lift surfaces. Use the Machine Wrench to rotate or reposition parts. Once active, right-click the machine to board it, and use standard movement keys to pilot it. Dismount with the sneak key.

Expand and Customize

Add Detailing Kits (Cloth, Frame, Metal, or Panel) to change the machine's appearance without affecting function. Install a Machine Battery if your machine uses energy, and keep Service Kits on hand to repair durability or recharge energy mid-flight. The Dismounter lets you safely remove installed components if you want to rebuild.
