Identify and Appreciate Glowing Blocks in Your World

Recognize Emission in the Pack

Vibrant PBR adds emission (self-illumination) to specific blocks that naturally produce light. These blocks will glow even in dark environments without needing external light sources.

Common Glowing Blocks

Look for:

  • Soul Fire torches and lanterns – Emit a distinctive blue glow
  • Glowing blocks – Yellow and other vibrant colored light-emitting blocks used for decoration
  • Chandeliers and light fixtures – Custom 3D models that emit warm light
  • Certain ores and crystals – May have subtle glow effects

Best Viewing Conditions

Emission effects are most visible in dark areas. Visit caves, underground bases, or explore at night to see the full impact. The glow will be subtle in bright daylight but dramatic in shadows.

Shader Interaction

Make sure your shader supports emission rendering. Most compatible shaders (Complementary, BSL, Photon) display emission by default, but check your shader settings if glowing blocks appear dim or non-luminous.
