Enable LabPBR Features to See Full Visual Effects
Access Your Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game. This is typically found in Video Settings > Shader Options, though the exact path depends on which shader you're using.
Activate Required Features
Look for the following toggles and ensure they are enabled:
- LabPBR – This is the core feature that interprets the pack's advanced texture data
- Parallax Mapping – Enables the 3D depth effect on flat surfaces like
stone, wood, and metal - Ambient Occlusion – Darkens corners and crevices for realistic shadow depth
Some shaders may label these slightly differently (e.g., "PBR Mode" instead of "LabPBR"), so check your shader's documentation if you can't find exact matches.
Apply and Test
Save your shader settings and return to the world. Walk around and look at blocks closely—you should now see:
- Textured surfaces with visible bumps and grooves
- Realistic reflections on wet or metallic blocks
- Deeper, more natural shadows in block corners
If blocks still look flat or washed out, double-check that all three features are enabled and that your shader is one of the officially supported options.
