Troubleshoot Sight Misalignment and Missed Shots
Checking Sight Alignment
If your shots consistently miss where the crosshair points, the sight pitch needs adjustment. Access the sight's pitch controls and rotate it until test shots align with the crosshair. Small adjustments matter—even slight misalignment compounds over distance.
Verifying Cannon Orientation
Confirm your cannon barrel actually points where you think it does. Create Big Cannons cannons can be rotated in multiple directions; ensure the sight is mounted to match the barrel's true firing direction, not just its visual appearance.
Line-of-Sight Issues
For guided missiles that won't track:
- Ensure nothing blocks the sight's view of the target
- Keep your aim steady on the target after firing
- Don't look away or the missile loses guidance
- Verify the missile actually launched (check ammunition inventory)
Control Chair Problems
If the chair won't control the cannon, check that the sight is close enough to the chair and has a clear line-of-sight to the cannon. Reposition either component slightly and try again.
